- מְצוּדָהf. (b. h.; צוּד) hunting apparatus, net, trap; bow. Kel. XXI, 3, v. אָשוּת. Ib. XV, 6 מְצוּדַת החולדה a trap for weasels. Sabb.43b שלא יעשנה כמ׳ he must not spread the mat so as to form a trap (for the bees). Esth.
